Rap's Aloha and Rap Reiplinger awarded a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Award, 1984

Rap's Aloha television special is a sketch comedy about a family on Maui, with characters played by Rap Reiplinger, and narrated by M.C. Pomai. Also with footage of the 1984 Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards ceremony with presenters Marlene Sai and Wayne Harada announcing Rap Reiplinger's posthumous win for Best Graphics for his album "Towed Away," and with widow Leesa Clark and Reiplinger's sister, Holly Lau delivering speeches on stage. James Grant Benton introduces a memorial tribute honoring Alfred Apaka, Sr., Sanford and Marcus Schutte, David "Feet" Rogers, and James Kawika Piʻimauna "Rap" Reiplinger with song performed by Brother Noland, Henry Kapono, and Jerry Santos. Footage ends with Melveen Leed and Frank Delima on stage.
