Tape five of ceremonies at ʻIolani Palace recorded on August 12, 1998. The ceremonies commemorate the resistance to annexation of Hawaiʻi and observance of the 100-year anniversary of "Annexation Day" which took place on August 12, 1898. This tape includes a set performed by Kānaka ʻŌiwi (Native Hawaiian) rap group Sudden Rush featuring their songs Kūʻē, True Hawaiian, Polynesian Party, and more.
