The 35th annual Merrie Monarch Festival Miss Aloha Hula competition ends with hula ʻauana performances from: Ranell Kaleionalani Kealoha of Hālau O Ke Ānuenue under the direction of Kumu Glenn Kelena Vasconcellos, Kapiʻolani Lanchenko of Hālau Hula Olana under the direction of Kumu Olana Aʻi and Kumu Howard Aʻi, Kealohapauʻole Hoʻomana of Keolalaulani Hālau ʻŌlapa O Laka under the direction of Kumu Aloha Dalire. Kimo Kahoano, Paula Akana, Manu Boyd, and Tracie Kaʻōnohilani Farias offer their final thoughts as they wait for the results from the judges.
