From camera A, b-roll footage of the International Festival of Canoes parade on Front Street Lāhainā, Maui recorded on May 23, 2003 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Some of the participants of the parade include master canoe carvers from Cook Islands, Marshall Islands, Tonga, New Zealand, and Hawaiʻi; Lāhaināluna High School woodshop students and student canoe carvers; Master Pahu Carver of Molokaʻi; David Malo Day King and Queen and the Kamehameha III Royal Court; Charles Kaupu chanting on the dock as canoes ride along the shore at Lāhainā Harbor; hula performances by several different groups, including "Ka Pilina" by the King Kamehameha III Royal Court and Tahitian dances by Nā Kamaliʻi O Ke Akua. Footage spans 2 videotapes.
