From camera B, b-roll footage of ceremonial events celebrating the International Festival of Canoes recorded on the shores of Lāhainā, Maui on May 23, 2003 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Footage includes opening oli (chants) chanted by Charles Kaupu at Lāhainā Boat Harbor while a fleet of canoes heads towards the shore; Tommy Akima sings "Ka Pilna" while the King Kamehameha III Royal Court performs the hula (dance) and Tahitian performances by Nā Kamaliʻi O Ke Akua at a hoʻolauleʻa (celebration) held at Kamehameha Iki Beach Park aka the Armory. Footage spans 2 videotapes.
