Scenic footage recorded in Lāhainā, Maui on June 28, 1999 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Footage includes scenic shots of Malu ʻUlu o Lele Park, formerly known as Mokuʻula. Mokuʻula is a small sacred island where Kauikeaouli reigned over the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi in the nineteenth century when Lāhainā was the capital. Scenic footage also includes Eddie Kamae and Claybourne "Braddah Smitty" Smith looking at archaeological remains of Mokuʻula; and a hoʻokupu (offer a gift to show gratitude); and David and Kamaʻa Malo's ʻahuʻula (feather cloak).
