Continued from title 26692, scenic footage and interview with Harold "Hale" Kaniho recorded in Lāhainā, Maui on July 21, 1999 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." While being interviewed, Kaniho stands on a dirt road to the entrance of Waineʻe Village also known as Lāhainā Pump Camp. Kaniho shares stories about his mom and the hardship of her children working for the plantation; Kaniho and his siblings working to help support their mother and family; and the closeness of the Lāhainā Pump community.
