B-roll footage recorded in Olowalu, Maui on August 17, 1999 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Footage includes still photographs of Front Street, Lāhainā from the beach; a photo of George Freeland, founder of the Pioneer Inn in front of the Pioneer Inn; a painting of ships docked in Lāhainā waters; and a whaling painting. Footage also includes scenics of Olowalu Lanakila Hawaiian Church Cemetery and the tombstones of Junsaburo and Lily K. Fujishiro. At the end of the video Harold "Hale" Kaniho talks about the methods used to burn sugarcane.
