Broadcast recording of the 44th annual Merrie Monarch Festival hula ʻauana night hosted by Kimo Kahoano, Paula Akana, and Pualani Kanakaʻole-Kanahele. Pre-show begins with a prerecorded performance by Nā Palapalai performing Lei Kula Nā Aliʻi. Kahoano recognizes people who have recently passed away including Kumu hula Nina Maxwell, Kumu hula John Kaʻimikaua, and Don Ho.
