Continued from title 27231, footage of still photographs and interview with Shigeto "Shigesh" Wakida recorded in the Wakida home in Lāhainā on November 30, 1999 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Still photographs include Champions 1949 Factory Workers from west Maui softball team sponsored by Tabata store; 1940 Pioneer Mill football team, which Wakida coached; Wakida family photograph; another softball team; and certificates Wakida earned over the years. In the interview Wakida talks dearly about his encounters with Mamoru Yamasaki, a state senator elected in 1968.
