Continued from title 27255, interview with Paul "Moon" Keahi recorded in Lāhainā on August 13, 1999 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Keahi continues with stories of creating a grinder from a garbage disposal to make poi; stories of his grandfather's poi pounder and carrying six bags of kalo out of the loʻi (taro patch); and the phasing out of the plantation and what that means to people like himself who have lived here for the past 30-plus years.
