Continued from title 27301, interviews with grade school children who built model canoes for a class project recorded on May 24. 2000 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Interviewed are Mariah Gill, Kai Iaconetti, and Brittney Baybayan. After each student describes their model canoe and shares what each part is made of they go outside and talk to Mike Tavioni, master canoe carver from the Cook Islands.
