Interview with Florence Hasegawa in Lāhainā recorded on May 21, 2000 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Hasegawa talks about her hobbies such as dance, hula, singing, and reading; her plantation work experiences; and a message to the children about the importance of honesty, integrity, kindness and hard work. Also included is b-roll of master canoe carvers in the beginning stages of carving a canoe at Kamehameha Iki Park.
