Scenic footage of Hale Kahiko in the Lāhainā Center recorded on October 25, 2000 in Lāhainā, Maui for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Footage includes shots of traditional dwellings with wood frames and pili grass thatched for the house coverings, smooth river rock for the flooring, and pā pōhaku (rock walls) surrounding three different hale built for separate functions.
