Rice & Roses #1221 : Can't Take No More

Depicting the tragedies that befell workers in various jobs and the struggle to develop workplace safety guidelines in the United States, the film "Can't Take No More" (1980) is a history of events and movements that eventually lead to the creation of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). However, in 1981 the administration of President Ronald Reagan withdrew the film from OSHA regional offices. It was only after months of continued public pressure and controversy that the Reagan administration reversed its decision. Rice and Roses presents this film as a public service. Taped on February 9, 1982 and introduced by Ed Asner.
