Max Roffman interviews Leonard Hoshijo and others about the development and construction of units at the Pepeʻekeo Housing Project on the island of Hawaiʻi. Roffman also talks to ILWU members in the housing project about their roles and choices they had when purchasing the housing units. Other clips include exterior shots of the houses, discussion of construction choices, and the ILWU involvement in the housing project.
