Topics include: Thomson's early life and childhood in Europe in a military family; his accomplishments during his military career; his two marriages, birth of his daughters and his subsequent divorces; being a competitive athlete; being stunned to learn he had cancer at age 48; how he deals with his terminal illness by enjoying life; his friendship with Reverend Doctor Mits Aoki and how his teachings and sessions have helped Thomson by imparting warmth, reassurance, and hope; how his illness has impacted his competitive nature and opened him to positive interactions with others; receiving support and love from family, friends and also strangers; his plans for travel and activities before his death; his relationship with his parents; and his hope to convey his love and memories to the special people in his life before his death.
