Hoʻāla : Awakening is a 17-minute capsulated history of the Hawaiian people from pre-Paʻao to the overthrow of Queen Liliʻuokalani establishing the motivation and current need for the struggle for Hawaiian rights. Part of the Hui Naʻauao Hawaiian Sovereignty Education Series, this program features Nanette Lehua Napoleon, Jennifer Goodyear-Kaʻōpua, Mary Luahiwa Beck, Nathan Nāpoka, Kekuni Blaisdell, Eric Enos, Davianna McGregor, Mahealani Kamauʻu, Keoni Agard, Leo Anderson Akana, and Kawaikapuokalani Hewett.
