Interviews with Sam Kaleleiki and Kenneth Makekau separately recorded on September 18, 1993 for the documentary "Luther Kahekili Makekau: A One Kine Hawaiian Man." Topics include Kaleleiki sharing a story about Luther Makekau walking out on his bill at a restaurant and the owner being okay with it. Kenneth Makekau, son of David Makekau, Luther's brother, shares stories about his uncle. The stories include a time when he was walking around with Andy Bumatai and Bumatai pointed out to Makekau that Luther, who was lying in the street was his uncle; Luther's trick of fishing while lying down with line tied around his toe; and cattle rustling to feed the people. Also included is b-roll footage of the ʻOhana Makekau Reunion.
