Kamauʻu shares stories about ʻIolani Luahine including Keahi Luahine being a kahu hānai (adoptive parent) of ʻIolani Luahine; performing with Mary Kawena Pukui and Lokalia Montgomery; how Kamauʻu learned by watching and repeating her teacher Luahine; traveling to Washington D.C. to perform and taking plants associated with hula (dance); being filmed by Tip Davis and Davis having to be ready when she is ready; and the many students of Luahine.
