Napoka, a student of ʻIolani Luahine and Hoakalei Kamauʻu, shares stories about Luahine including visits to Kauaʻi schools to perform hula (dance) and oli (chant); spiritual power of kūpuna (ancestors); some people misunderstanding Luahine's state of mind at times of performances; and her sense of humor.
