Interview with Boone Morrison recorded at his home in Volcano, Hawaiʻi on August 6, 1997 for the documentary "Keepers of the Flame: The Cultural Legacy of Three Hawaiian Women." Morrison shares experiences he had with Edith Kanakaʻole while she was the cultural resource person for Hawaiian activities at the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park and later being a part of the dance retreat for the Volcano Art Center; building the pā hula or kahua hula (dance platform) at Hawaiʻi Volcanoes Nataional Park with Kanakaʻole; the intellectual minds of the Kanakaʻole ʻohana; and Kanakaʻole's style of teaching.
