Continued from title 28980, footage of a talk story session with the family of Edith Kanakaʻole about her life recorded on March 17, 1998 at the Kīlauea Theater in Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park Visitors Center on Hawaiʻi Island. Footage includes an oli about Kaʻū by Punahele (no last name); childhood stories about "gramma and grampa's" house by Kekuhi Kanahele-Frias and Huihui Kanahele-Mossman; and Pualani Kanakaʻole Kanahele closing out the night by sharing the values of her mother Edith Kanakaʻole. The entire family sings "Ka Uluwehi o ke Kai" composed by Edith Kanakaʻole.
