Continued from title 28990, footage recorded on June 27, 1998 at the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. Footage includes sisters and kumu hula (dance teacher) of Hālau o Kekuhi, Nalani Kanakaʻole and Pualani Kanakaʻole Kanahele with their hālau performing hula kahiko (ancient dance) on the pā hula or kahua hula (dance platform) overlooking the Halemaʻumaʻu crater. Includes audience participation and tributes to Pele and her sister Hiʻiakaikapoliopele, Kamehameha, Kalākaua and a mele for Queen Kapiʻolani called "He Inoa no Ke Oho O Kapiʻolani."
