Kanahele-Frias continues to share stories about her relationship with her grandmother, Edith Kanakaʻole. Stories include Kanakaʻole's contribution to the education about Hawaiian culture in the 20th century; what Kanahele-Frias is doing with what she has learned from her grandmother and other kūpuna (ancestors); the significance and the characteristics of her name Kekuhikuhipuuoneonaaliiokohala; and expressions and practices unique to her children's generation.
