Host Bob Miller looks at women in Hawaiʻi who are involved in construction and the apprenticeship program for the Carpenters' Union. Other topics the program examines are: the wage gap between men and women, various laws that should allow for more women to enter non-traditional jobs, women's experience while working with men on various construction sites, reasons why there are no women leaders in the various unions, upward mobility, and ways to increase the number of women in non-traditional jobs.
