Enduring Pride : Volume 10

This tenth volume of Enduring Pride features four segments focusing on traditions found in Hawaiian culture. The first segment looks at Sam Kamaka Jr. and the Kamaka family's ʻukulele business, Kamaka ʻUkulele on Oʻahu. The second segment is ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi with Kaipo Hale and Robert Lokomaikaʻiokalani Snakenberg, which looks at Hawaiian Studies programs that have kupuna teaching Hawaiian culture, history, and language in public schools. The third segment visits Annie and John Kaliloa and the salt ponds in Hanapēpē Kauaʻi. The last segment features Kumu Hula Namahana Kalama-Panui passing on hula and traditional concepts to her halau, Na Mamoali'i O Ka'uiki. Recorded circa 1987.
