Rice & Roses #213 : Job Corps: The Successful Experiment

This episode of Rice & Roses looks at the Job Corps program in Hawaiʻi. The program assists at-risk youth and high school dropouts between the ages of 16 and 24, with vocational training on a voluntary basis. The program offers housing, basic education, and vocational training with the goal of having the participants earn their high school diplomas while learning job skills for jobs outside of the program.
