Kapiʻolani Park 1977 - Time Capsule Master
Performances and verite footage videotaped over several days at Kapi'olani Park, produced for a City and County of Honolulu (Department of Parks and Recreation) time capsule that was buried in the park in 1977, to be uncovered 100 years later. Includes footage of The Bus, joggers, community gardening at Paki Community Recreational Garden, hula, canoe paddling, live music, body boarding, Waikīkī Natatorium, tai chi, tennis, a child swinging on a banyan tree, volleyball, a coconut tree trimmer, frisbee, Tropical Italian Ices. KHON news footage and a description of the time capsule ceremony is shown at end.
