A film for Teaching Hula Ula No Weo presented by University of Hawaiʻi and the Committee for the Study and Preservation of Hawaiian Language, Art and Culture. Directed by Dorothy Kahananui and Barbara Barnard Smith shot by George Tahara. Eleanor Leilehua Hiram, one of Hawaii's most noted and accomplished hula masters, teaches the viewer by example a hula titled Ula no weo. Hand, leg and body motions and the meanings they convey are demonstrated and explained. No title cards.
