Panel discusses the closing of Waialua Sugar, questions the safety of a research project using lasers, union election for Teamsters Local 5, Belau update, sovereignty conference, and the agreement on Philippine military bases. Video segments show some of the guests in 1988. Dr. Richard Kekuni Blaisdell says Hawaiians have the poorest health in the islands. If the Health Care Act passes, it places control in the Native Hawaiian communities by Native Hawaiian organizations.
