Shots of Hawaiian band with hula and Sāmoan dance performed. The Senator and his wife are greeted by Spark Matsunaga and constituents with lei. Includes crowd shots. -Senator Inouye dinner fund raiser and band playing. Guests include Judge William S. Richardson and Governor Burns. Ends with shots of the Senator departing Kauaʻi. -Senator Inouye at Wahiawa Hongwanji Carnival and Bazaar. The Senator shakes hands of people attending and vendors selling hulihuli chicken. The Senator eats saimin. -Shots of the Senator and team leaving campaign headquarters of Richards St, driving through Kalihi, Pearl City (passing Sumida's), and eventually ending in Haleʻiwa. Senator meets group at Haleʻiwa including Leo Rodby and Henry Kuʻualoha Giugni.
