A suit citing racism was filed by the students against a professor. It was denied and an appeal was filed. One result was that an advocate position with faculty status would be established for Hawaiian faculty and students. The fight for water for agriculture for the Leeward and Windward sides of Oʻahu. Morin warns that Hawaiians voting for the Plebiscite will risk having it used against them. U.S. can use this vote to take Hawaiʻi off the list of non-self governing territories in the U.N.
