Episode opens with current events update about tuition waivers for University students of Hawaiian ancestry and the continuing problems within the Kamehameha Schools Bernice Pauahi Bishop Estate. The efforts of Nā Pua A Ke Aliʻi Pauahi to gain some control over the Bishop Estate's affairs is covered, as well as who seems to be responsible for this scandal that has been so heavily publicized. The issue of tuition waivers for Hawaiian students includes rebuttals for the major opposition to the waivers, including the fact that much of the University of Hawaiʻi sits on ceded lands. The upcoming Office of Hawaiian Affairs elections are also discussed, as well as Mililani Trask's plans for her campaign.
