Ethnobotanist Dr. Beatrice "Bea" Krauss talks with Dr. Dennis Meyer about native plants. In this video Dr. Krauss continues her discussion from tape 3; she then goes on to discuss the process of becoming a kahuna lāʻau lapaʻau. Other topics include the harmony between Hawaiians and nature, as well as the beauty found in different aspects of the forest. Her talk is followed by scenic shots of the forest and mountain.
