Smith speaks about the similarities between slack key and classical guitar playing, as well as the parallel of developments between Flamenco music and Hawaiian music. Both Flamenco and Hawaiian music were developed around the same time; about the late 1700's. Recorded on January 13, 1991 at the Mamiya Theatre.
