Continued from title 23180, interview with George Kuo recorded on March 27, 2000 for the documentary "The History of the Sons of Hawaiʻi." Kuo talks about Dennis Kamakahi perpetuating a legacy which was started by Eddie Kamae and how that legacy came from the kūpuna; how Kamakahi's son, David, will perpetuate his legacy; how Kamae researched traditional mele, checking old manuscripts and sharing experiences of the kūpuna. This video also includes b-roll footage of Kamae at the Bishop Museum archive viewing sheet music of mele written by Liliʻuokalani.
