Continued from title 26611, footage recorded in Kailua, Oʻahu on May 6, 2007 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Footage includes Malihini Keahi-Heath, ʻAʻima McManus, and Mihana ʻĀluli Souza, three haumāna (students) of Emma Sharp, performing a hula noho (hula performed in a sitting position) called "Kananaka." Kananaka was composed by Kauhailikua ʻŌpūnui. After several takes of "Kananaka" Keahi-Heath, McManus, and Souza talk story with Eddie Kamae and share what Lāhainā means to them and how Lāhainā lives on.
