Interview with Chris Leialoha recorded on November 5, 1988 at the premiere of the documentary "Liʻa: The Legacy of a Hawaiian Man." Footage of the lūʻau (celebration) held for the community of Waipiʻo, Kukuihaele and Honokaʻa who helped with the making of the documentary. Leialoha, a native of the island of Hawaiʻi helped Eddie Kamae search for people who knew Sam Liʻa Kalainaina. In the interview Leialoha shares his thoughts of what the message of the film is. Beginning of interview with Leialoha is contained on title 25782 in the "Liʻa: The Legacy of a Hawaiian Man" production materials. Also included is entertainment by the Sons of Hawaiʻi with members Eddie Kamae, Joe Marshall, Dennis Kamakahi, George Kuo, Claybourne "Braddah Smitty" Smith and joined by Junior Daugherty on violin.
