B-roll footage of Eddie and Myrna Kamae and interview with Shigeto "Shigesh" Wakida recorded in Lāhainā on November 1, 1999 for the documentary "Lahaina: Waves of Change." Footage includes Eddie Kamae singing on the steps of Pineapple Hill, with wife Myrna sitting next to him. Songs Kamae sings include "Hinahina Kū Kahakai," and "Maʻemaʻe Lihau." The second part of the video is an interview with Shigeto "Shigesh" Wakida at the Lāhainā Tennis Courts. In the interview Wakida talks about growing up in the Lāhainā Pump camp and all the sports he grew up playing which included football, basketball, volleyball, track and field, and softball. Wakida describes how he started playing tennis in his twenties or thirties, after he was finished playing all the other sports.
