Craver shares stories about Mary Kawena Pukui including meeting Pukui when she was hired for a position with the Queen Liliʻuokalani Children's Center; the conversations they had together in Hawaiian language and what it meant for both of them; Pukui's ability to read people like kūpuna (elders); and her advice of always having paper and pencil to write down good manaʻo (thoughts).
