Oli (chant) footage and interview with Kaʻupena Wong recorded at his home in Mākaha on March 31, 1995 for the documentary "Keepers of the Flame: The Cultural Legacy of Three Hawaiian Women." Footage includes several takes of Wong chanting two different mele (chants). Wong shares about his time learning about chanting from Mary Kawena Pukui and three different styles learned; the importance of Hawaiian language and its cultural behavior; and Wong's great-grandfather, Joseph Mokuohai Poepoe, meeting Pukui in her teens and Poepoe's prophecy of her.
