Footage of a talk story session with the family of Edith Kanakaʻole about her life recorded on March 17, 1998 in the Kīlauea Theater at Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park Visitors Center on Hawaiʻi Island. Footage includes opening with oli (chant) titled "E Ho Mai" and "Kokolo Au" composed by Kanakaʻole and also includes stories and hula shared by Kanakaʻole's daughters Pualani Kanakaʻole Kanahele and Ulu Kanakaʻole Garmon, Kamaile Akimseu, and grandchildren including Kekuhi Kanahele Frias and Kaumakaʻiwa.
